What is a bananaplan ? A bananaplan is when you fuck people in the brain with your strategy, concept, and/or art.
Some american rappers are using bananaplans to promote their music, i mean it’s normal it’s cool.
Some others take those guys’ bananaplans and turn them into a new fruit.
Example :
Kanye We$t did his G.O.O.D Fridays and started giving free music away every Friday to promote his new album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Nicki Minaj has been promoting her new album, Pink Friday, by animating her twitter fanbase on a regular basis, including through the Pink Fridays
Strongly inspired by Kanye’s bananaplan, Swizz Beatz decided to start the Monster Mondays, Lloyd Banks is launching Blue Fridays, and Timbaland just announced his Timbo Thursdays.
Why do we think these are bananaplans ?
1. When you receive free music from a superstar you feel closer to them (yeah that’s pretty high level manipulation 
)
2. It is an addictive process, you’re craving to hear the new Kanye feat who knows who, maybe Jigga or John Legend or both ?
3. Clearly identified and related colors that enrich the artist’s environment + visuals help memory, remember ?
This is genius, a new way to promote music through their first enemy becoming their best friend : the INTERWEB.
