WHY WE LOVE DIE ANTWOORD
Arrivée au Social Club, la faune habituelle était mêlée à une population un peu moins adepte des lieux : des gens lambdas, des punks … des vrais gens quoi !
A priori dérangeant pour les hispters parisiens mais plutôt intéressant à nos yeux.
Fans de Die Antwoord, on s’attendait bien évidemment à ce que ce live soit exceptionnel … mais on avait vu sobre, finalement c’était juste la maxance du full flex !
Après une longue attente, durant laquelle Dj Hi Tek déambulait dans la salle, le live commence enfin. La tension monte (cf. la lesbienne qui commence à se frotter à l’une d’entre nous, et le pogo moite qui s’en suit)
Landing at Social Club, the usual crowd was mixed with a rather unfamiliar population, much less used to the place : « normal people », punks … The experience might have been disturbing for the parisian hipsters, but it was interesting to observe. We love Die Antwoord and we were obviously expecting an amazing show, but we didn’t expect this … That was just the ultimate full flex !
After a long wait, during which Dj Hi Tek was walking around the club, the show kicked off. The tension rises (>> the lesbian girl rubbing her body against one of us, and the wet pogo)

1. Ils se réapproprient de nombreuses références #innovation
Des contes de fées à Vanilla Ice en passant par l’influence de la diversité sud africaine, ils mixent le tout avec génie et mettent d’accord un public très large.
2. Des personnalités fortes au message futuriste #illuminati
Ninja, Yo-Landi et Dj Hi Tek représentent un pannel de « losers », des losers plein de talent à qui personne n’accordait d’importance mais qui ont réussi à fermer des clapets en produisant un concept qui s’est répandu comme une trainée de poudre et auquel des centaines de milliers de personnes se sont identifiés.

3. Ils cassent les codes et repoussent les limites #decathlon
Beaucoup les ont taxé de nazis, (ils sont afrikaans, rasés, tatoués, ça fait peur !) mais leur message est tout autre : « All these different things, all these different people fucked into one person » – Enter The Ninja. Ils ont justement dépassé toutes ces différences ethniques ancrées dans les esprits et rassemblent les gens sous le signe du ZEF.
Certains y voient de la manipulation, d’autres de l’utopie, mais on sait bien que ceux qui s’acharnent à réunir dérangent.

WHY IS DIE ANTWOORD THE FUTURE ?
1. They reinvent a lot of different references #innovation
From fairy tales to Vanilla Ice to the influence of south african cultural diversity, Die Antwoord mixes all these things with genius and gather a very large audience.
2. Strong personas with a futuristic message #illuminati
Ninja, Yo-Landi and Dj Hi Tek are very talented nerds, and even though everyone told them they were losers, they shut a few big mouths and REALLY are all over the interweb now.

3. They destroy codes and cross the line #justdoit
A lot of people said they were nazis (3 shaved and tattooed afrikkans, yeah pretty scary !) but their message is the opposite : « All these different things, all these different people fucked into one person » – Enter The Ninja. They actually fuck the ethnic differences stuck in people’s minds and created a ZEF army.
Some think they are manipulators, others think they are utopists, but we know that those who try to gather upset.
