Social Future Shoes
Remember the Nike +, a social challenging app for motivated runners ?
Well, some very talented students (wtf, I never did something like that when I was a student !!) challenged the nike plus app with this project. Here is how they describe it :
« A concept made for the module Advanced Interface Design at Hyper Island hosted by North Kingdom and our mentor was Thomas Larsson from B-Reel. We call it KarmaTech. »
Basically, they put RFID chips in WESC shoes and thought of a few ways to share information through these customized shoes. It’s pretty impressive, see for yourself :
