Martha Camarillo is a self-taught photographer from New York (and we LOVE her work !). She used to work in the fashion industry but she finds it more interesting to focus on the human, so she chose to use « photography [as] a tool for sociology ».

She introduces us to a very surprising environment through pictures of black cowboys in the center of Philadelphia from her Fletcher Street project.

Fletcher Street people ride their horses all day long on the streets, which is part of their culture and a way for them to stay away from drugs, violence and other street dangers.
